Thank you for your interest in the Andromeda Shadow Filter™, an Adobe Photoshop™ compatible plug-in. The demo filter has a fully operational interface and Preview Windows. The filter's output capability has been disabled. It is also compatible with several other applications that can accept Photoshop plug-ins. The demo presets are identical to the ones that come with the shipping Shadow filter. To order the full product or for more information, call us or see our web site at www.andromeda.com.
INSTALLATION OF THE SHADOW FILTER DEMO
1) Double click on the "Install Shadow Demo" icon. Click Continue.
2) If Adobe Photoshop is found on your computer, you will see a message "Adobe Photoshop was found on your system. Would you like to install the Andromeda Shadow Demo for use with Adobe Photoshop?" Click Yes if you want to use the filter with Adobe Photoshop. If you want to install the filter for use with another host, click No.
3) If you clicked Yes, the filter will be automatically installed in Photoshop's Plug-ins Filters folder. The presets are stored in a folder called "Shadow-Presets" in your System Folder Preferences folder.
4) If either Photoshop isn't found on your computer or you selected No in step 2 above, you are presented with a dialog box allowing you to direct the installer to another destination folder. Use this option if you are installing the filter for use with another host. If you are unsure of where to install the filter with your non-Photoshop host, check the manual for your host program regarding where to install plug-in filters.
5) When the installation has finished, restart Photoshop. Open a color image. In the Filters menu, you will see Andromeda Shadow Demo. Once in the filter, drag your mouse around and read about each control in the Helper window.
